We may have differing views on parenting, marriage, (or just about anything!), but we stand united on what we believe. We want to share what we believe.
We believe that the Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
We believe there is one true God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is also known as the “Trinity”. God is the Creator of heaven and earth. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. His very nature is love. (Gen. 1:1, 26-27; 3:22, Ps. 90:2, Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14)
Jesus Christ is God’s son. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He gave his life as a sacrifice for the sin of man. On the third day, he rose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven where he sits at the right hand of the Father. Jesus is the only way to the Father. Jesus will return one day to complete the work of the Father. (Isa. 9:6, Matt. 1:22-23, John 1:1-5; 14:10-13, Acts 1:9-11, Rom. 1:3-4, I Cor. 15:3-4, Heb. 4:14-15; 10:14, I Tim. 6:14-15, Titus 2:13)
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and Son. He has been at work from the beginning of Creation; inspired the writing of the scriptures; convicts the world of sin; brings life to those who are spiritually dead; empowers and indwells believers. He gives every Christ follower spiritual gifts to help grow and serve the Church. (Gen. 1:2, John 3:1-8; 14:16-17; 16:7-13, Acts 1:8, 1 Cor. 2:12; 3:16, Eph. 1:13; 5:18, Gal. 5:25, Titus 3:4-7)
We believe that it is by Jesus that we are saved. Mere works do not get the job done. It is confessing with our mouth that he is Lord and that there are no other God’s before him, that we are saved.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
The Great Commission
We believe that we have been called to share the Gospel of Jesus in every way we can, wherever we can.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
